The Forge Sessions

Each session is one page: warm-up, workout, coaching tips, a challenge, and a lesson to talk through when you're done. Read it on your phone or print it and stick it on the fridge. Nothing here costs anything.

Pick one · Do it together

Every session scales three ways

▲ Trail Scout
BeginnerLighter load, fewer rounds, rest whenever you need it.
▲▲ Summit Seeker
IntermediateThe session as written. Steady pace, honest effort.
▲▲▲ Mountain Strong
AdvancedHeavier load, minimal rest, chase the clock.

Different people in the same family can run different tiers in the same session. That's the design, not a compromise.

Running your first session

Read this once.
Then never again.

You don't need to be a coach. You need a timer, some open ground, and the willingness to be the one who starts.

  1. Print it or pull it up

Phones die and screens lock mid-set. Paper on the fridge wins.

  2. Pick tiers out loud

Everyone says their tier before you start. No silent quitting, no silent showing off.

  3. Warm up for real

Five to seven minutes. This is where injuries don't happen.

  4. Set a timer and go

Work the circuit in order. Encourage out loud. Finish together, not first.

  5. Ask the Family Question

Sit down, sweaty, and actually talk. This is the part they'll remember in twenty years.

Before you start

These sessions are free and unsupervised. Talk to your doctor before starting anything new, scale honestly, stop if something hurts in a way that isn't just hard, and keep kids' loads light. Form over weight, always — for you and for them.
